I am saving up as much as I can for this. Everytime I go to these pop culture expos I have no money. Which really is probably a good thing, because how much of this stuff do I really need to buy?

Happening in Cairns on the 14th of November 2012 there will be a FULL solar eclipse. What does that mean you ask? The moon will be crossing over between the earth and the sun and now I am writing this I am getting excited and really want to go again.
How many chances do you get to see this?? Not many, if any. Well unless you stalk the shit out of them. They actually occur about every 18 months somewhere in the world, but you would have to wait around for 360 – 410 years to see one from the exact same locale.

Well here is a chance to see a total eclipse and have an epic party for it. Purchase tickets at Greentix. Get on it as 1st and 2nd round are well and truly sold out.

There will be awesome music blasting through your ears, awesome art and amazing new people to meet.
It is a journey and experience that after writing this have started to convince myself how awesome it will be that I might just have to go there.

I saw this advertised on the side of a tram while I was stuck at traffic lights and thought “Bloody Brilliant”.
Always my biggest problem with going to art shows is that I want to take home half of it but haven’t won Tattslotto yet.
Not that the art isn’t worth it in some instances, but I don’t make that much dosh.

Happening May 24th to 27th ath the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton.
Tickets are $15 GA. Yeah so probably what you save on the paintings you pay to see them. (There goes the skeptic in me)

I am always up for checking out some art and will hopefully get down there sometime over the 4 days.

Seth Sentry will be hitting up The Evelyn once again this Friday (18th May).

With support from Chance Waters and Kryptic a part of me is dying inside knowing that I will not be in attendance for the evening. With some tickets still available you should be rushing to hit up moshtix and purchase yours to secure you’ll be up for an enjoyable night.

Public Enemy will be hitting up The Espy Front Bar on Thursday 17th May.
Jumping on stage for the night and making the trip out on a Thursday night even more worth it is The Psyde Projects and Seth Sentry who will be gracing the stage with their presence.

Next Friday night (27th April) is Opening Night at Backwoods Gallery of the Phibs and Beastman exhibition.
It will be running from the 27th April – 6th May.

The Gallery is located at 25 Easey St Collingwood and open 3-6pm Thursday and Friday, 12-6pm Saturday and Sunday.
