Finally the “lazy” Seth Sentry has released a long awaited film clip to represent a fantastic song. Okay sure, so it has been totally played to death and all but I still love it. However I’ve seen it live so many times now that I insert the trademark “ding” that is always performed by Jackie Splash.

Eliza Doolittle

So Eliza Doolittle’s single ‘Skinny Jeans’ is now up for pre-order on iTunes.

I love her voice and she has a touch of Lily Allenesque sound going on, which considering I am a major Lily fan is no suprise that I am enjoying some Eliza. I was pretty much sold by her name though. ‘My Fair Lady’ anyone?

Alice In Wonderland

So I finally got to see ‘Alice In Wonderland’ on Easter Sunday. Great way to spend the arvo, chilling in gold class. Cheers to the parental units. I loved the movie! The costumes, effects and make-up were awesome. I think I am going to have to rock some multi coloured seperate eye shadow styles one day. The Mad Hatter had some sick colours happening.

All the critics that panned the movie, well you all deserve to be panned. Clearly you’re all just jelous that you weren’t involved in the film so all you can do is bitch about it. Tim Burton is one of my all time fave directors. The only movie I haven’t watched more than once is ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. ‘Alice’ has a definate “Burtonesque” tradestamp. All the cast did a brilliant job and the casting directors should be proud of the ensemble they put together. All of this has just made me even more excited about the “Tim Burton” Exhibition that will be hitting ACMI on 24th June and running into October.
